L'Amirauté Brest

We booked a large room on an upper floor and, indeed had ample space. The location of the hotel, just one block from shops, cafes, restaurants, and within easy walking distance of the harbor, was a real plus. The reception staff was exceptionally helpful.

The staff were lovely. Beds so comfortable! Food in restaurant excellent. Safe parking. Luxurious toiletries. We especially liked the fact that the toilet was separate from the shower! Housekeeping staff very kind and exceptionally good at their job.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable beds, very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Quiet and peaceful. The best thing was that we were able to get 2 interconnecting rooms, as we are 2 adults and 2 kids. I felt like we were getting 2 rooms for the price of 1 Family Room!! Delighted with the service. A very enjoyable 3 nights stay. We hope to stay again in future.

Everything was perfect. From Reception to the room and specially breakfast that was fantastic, only compliments. One morning, after taking breakfast, we went up but our room was being cleaned and though the Staff wanted to leave we said we would wait down in the lobby. After less than 5 minutes he came down to tell us it was ready. I've been staying in more than a few hundred hotels during my life and never saw this kind of service.

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped us order taxis if we needed one and offered baguettes, charcuterie, cheese, etc. anytime we met up with friends in the seating area offset from the bar. The room was a good size and the bathroom had a full-size shower with a large vanity. The hotel is within walking distance of several shops, places to eat, and the aerial tramway to access the other side of the city across the water.
